Privacy Policy

Effective: August 12, 2026

This policy describes the privacy behaviour of this version of GlowEdit. It is a template for the shipped product and should be reviewed for your business, jurisdiction, analytics setup, and any future server-side features before public launch.

Photo processing

The current GlowEdit editor processes photos selected by you inside your browser. GlowEdit does not intentionally upload the selected photo to a GlowEdit image-processing server in this build.

AI assets

GlowEdit uses MediaPipe-based face landmark and image segmentation tools. The application may download JavaScript, WebAssembly, and model files from the asset locations configured in /config.js. Downloading those assets may expose normal web-request information such as IP address and browser headers to the asset host. Your selected image is not intentionally included in those asset requests.

Local device data

Photo pixels, edit settings, and generated previews are held in browser memory while you edit. Exported images are saved through your browser’s download flow. This version does not provide cloud projects or account-based photo storage.

PWA and offline cache

If you install GlowEdit or use a browser that supports service workers, the app may cache site files such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, icons, and configuration so the interface can load more reliably. The service worker in this build is not designed to cache your selected photos.

Analytics and cookies

This production package ships without third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or account cookies. If you add analytics, advertising, login, payments, or other third-party services, update this policy before deployment.

Children and sensitive use

GlowEdit is a general photo-editing tool. Do not use it to create unlawful, exploitative, or non-consensual imagery. If you operate the service for minors, obtain appropriate legal advice about age requirements, consent, and applicable child-privacy obligations.

Future server features

If a future feature requires uploading an image—for example generative fill, object removal, cloud backup, or server-side inference—the interface should clearly disclose that before upload and this policy should describe the processor, retention period, purpose, and deletion controls.
